Registro Nacional No Llame: AAIP API via TAD or Us

DNC LATAM · Compliance guides

Updated 23 September 2026

Argentina's official Do Not Call registry is the Registro Nacional No Llame, run by AAIP under Law 26.951. Companies request AAIP API credentials for the official automated consult on TAD: search Consultas automatizadas a servicios (API) de la AAIP, then select Registro Nacional de No Llame. That filing expects a prior inscription in the Registro Nacional de Bases de Datos Personales and a copy of the signer's personería. Foreign firms that cannot finish it scrub +54 with DNC LATAM, country ar, API or CSV, from $500/mo. Mexico is REPEP (PROFECO). Colombia is RNE (CRC). Get access. API. Foreign company access.

Any company that advertises, offers, sells or gifts goods or services by phone to Argentine numbers must check this registry before calling. The rule covers live calls, messages, and automated calls, including campaigns operated from outside Argentina.

The US National DNC Registry does not include +54. A TCPA-clean file can still be full of No Llame registrations. AAIP does not accept a US scrub as a substitute. Product path for US teams: Argentina DNC scrubbing. Comparison: National DNC vs LATAM DNC.

How No Llame works

  • Consumers register mobile or fixed lines for free. Registration stays active until the consumer withdraws it.
  • Companies doing telemarketing must become authorized AAIP registry users and download the current list before campaigns.
  • Each call to a registered number can be treated as a separate infringement. Repeat patterns escalate.

The official portal is nollame.aaip.gob.ar. Consumers use it to register. Companies use it after they pass the user-registration gate. There is no English commercial feed and no public "wash" product aimed at foreign dialers.

AAIP as the operator

AAIP is Argentina's access-to-public-information and data-protection authority. On No Llame it both holds the registry and investigates consumer complaints. Enforcement is complaint-driven, not a scheduled audit of every campaign. Once a complaint is open, the review asks whether the number was registered on the call date, and whether the caller can produce dated consent that overrides that registration. Registration barriers for foreigners

Company-user registration is designed around local credentials:

  1. CUIT tax identity. Argentine government systems require a CUIT and local authentication. A foreign company without an Argentine entity or representative generally cannot sign in.
  2. Legal entity and responsible representative. Forms and follow-up notices are in Spanish. AAIP expects a local contact.
  3. Ongoing downloads. Registration is not a one-time checkbox. You must pull current data before every campaign and keep evidence.

If you already operate an Argentine entity, this is manageable overhead. If you do not, the practical path is a provider that maintains authorized access and returns current checks as a service. Step-by-step: how to register for Argentina DNC compliance. Why US and nearshore firms stall: foreign company DNC access.

What "current" means in Argentina

Mexico publishes a 15-day REPEP release. Argentina does not. Consumers add numbers continuously. A quarterly file is not a defense for a campaign that dialed last Tuesday. The operating standard on this site is: download or query current data before each campaign, never reuse a scrub older than 30 days, and keep a dated screening record tied to that batch.

Consent still matters as an override, not as a substitute for the scrub. A pre-existing customer relationship is not automatically enough. You need a specific, dated consent record for that number. Argentina consent: do you need consent to cold-call Argentina.

When to buy the API

Buy Argentina when +54 marketing is in the book and you cannot hold AAIP credentials. Send country: "ar" on the same DNC API used for Mexico and Colombia, or upload CSV in the panel. You get the determination plus a dated screening record. Independent SKU, from $500/month at 10,000 checks. Annual billing charges ten months for twelve. No bundle discount.
