The US National Do Not Call Registry is an FTC program for US numbers, enforced alongside the TCPA and the Telemarketing Sales Rule. Latin America's live official lists are different legal objects: Mexico REPEP (PROFECO), Argentina Registro Nacional No Llame (AAIP, Law 26.951), and Colombia RNE (CRC, Ley 2300). Treating them as "the DNC list" in the plural is how campaigns launch unchecked.

Other English-language commercial lists (UK TPS, Canada DNCL, Australia ACMA wash) sit closer to the US vendor catalogs. That is why LATAM is the usual hole. Lists by country.
Consent does not travel
A TCPA consent record is not a PROFECO, AAIP, or CRC override by default. Mexico's first-call model is opt-out against REPEP, not opt-in. What to run in a mixed shop
- Keep the National DNC scrub and TCPA process for US numbers.
- Add official destination checks for each LATAM country you dial.
- Store separate screening records. A US certificate does not cover REPEP.
- Do not rename the US toggle to "global DNC."

Is DNC LATAM a US National DNC scrubber? +
No. We check official Mexico REPEP (PROFECO), Argentina Registro Nacional No Llame (AAIP), and Colombia RNE (CRC). We are not a subscriber to the FTC National DNC Registry and we are not a TCPA compliance product.
Can I drop my US DNC vendor? +
Not if you still dial +1. Keep the FTC/TCPA stack for US numbers. Add DNC LATAM for +52, +54, and +57.
Why do US vendors return clean LATAM numbers? +
Those numbers are outside the FTC file. A clean result means 'not on the US list,' not 'clear to call in Mexico.'
